Large iron spoon and four tine fork recovered here at Gettysburg by a veteran and brought back to his Massachusetts GAR Post and later donated to the well-known Danner Museum in Gettysburg. Both the spoon and fork have light rust throughout and both are complete except that one of the tines has a small piece missing off of the end.

This exact set was used as an illustration on page 90 of Frank Mroczka’s book “STARTING YOUR FIRST CIVIL WAR COLLECTION”.
