Bayonet is complete with locking ring but the ring is frozen by rust. The entire surface of the bayonet has a nice dark patina. “US” stamping on flat is there but faint. Metal surface is mostly smooth. Last third of blade is slightly bent.

Recovery location is Gettysburg but no specific site is known.
