Carved .58 minie ball. Three rings still on base but the top was shortened and then progressively narrowed till it reaches a sharp point.
This item was recovered in the Wheatfield at Gettysburg by the late John Cullison and passed by him to the Rosensteel family where it became part of their well-known collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
