These little cedar wood cannons were popular souvenirs of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. This one comes mounted on a flat base that meas. approx. 5.00 inches long x 2.25 inches wide. The wheels are made out of two solid blocks of wood and meas. approx. 2.00 inches across x 2.00 inches high. The barrel is hollowed out and meas. approx. 4.25 inches long from muzzle to cascabel. One wheel is also stamped “JULY 1, 2, 3, 1863/ GETTYSBURG, PA” The trail of the gun slants from below the breech to the wood base. Also, the underside of the base is marked “MADE IN GETTYSBURG, PA.”

The item is very clean and in good condition.
