This is a two piece medal. The top section has the Coat of Arms for the state of Massachusetts at center surrounded by an arch that reads “50TH ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG 1863-1913.” Supporting the arch at bottom is a bar that reads “MASSACHUSETTS.” Reverse of this piece has the pin.

The drop is composed of a five armed cross superimposed over a laurel wreath. At the center of the cross is a circular disc with a bust of President Lincoln at center surrounded by an inscription that reads “REUNION OF VETERANS OF THE CIVIL WAR-GETTYSBURG, PA. 1913.”

The item is in very nice condition; some verdigris to laurel wreath.
