“ILLUSTRATIONS IN HALF-TONE OF ALL THE MONUMENTS, IMPORTANT VIEWS AND HISTORIC PLACES ON THE GETTYSBURG BATTLEFIELD”. Copyright 1909 by J. I. Mumper and R.C. Miller; text by Robert C. Miller. Published by J. I. Mumper, Battlefield Photographer and R. C. Miller, Custodian of the Jennie Wade House, Gettysburg, Pa.
Paper covers; held together by red string. Cover with gold lettering and drawing of the High Water Mark monument in front of the Copse of Trees. Heavily illustrated, an interesting look at what the battlefield was like at the turn of the 20th century. Great for “then and now” comparisons.
Overall fine condition; some light soiling and wear to covers. Front cover has small areas of paper loss at upper right corner and on lower edge. Cover has torn some along spine, but still mostly intact.
