Image is mounted on yellow stock. One edge is marked “STEREO GEMS OF GETTYSBURG SCENERY” and the other states that the image is by W. H. Tipton.

The view was taken just below the summit of Culp’s Hill where the a defensive line was intersected by a large boulder formation. A breast work of smaller rocks and tree limbs can be seen in front of the large boulder.

The view is number 536 and is captioned “FORTIFICATIONS IN FRONT OF GREEN’S BRIGADE, ON CULP’S HILL.”

The contrast of the image is good and the mount is mostly clean with only light surface dirt from age and storage.

Reverse is blank.
