Image is mounted on yellow stock. One edge is marked “STEREO GEMS OF GETTYSBURG SCENERY” and the other states that the image is by W. H. Tipton.
The view was taken looking toward Devil’s Den from about where the Park Service road now passes through it. The focus of the camera is on two rocks in the northern part of the Den.
The view is number 540 and is captioned “GRANITE BOULDERS AT DEVIL’S DEN.”
The contrast of the image is excellent and the mount is clean. Lower right corner is chipped. Reverse is blank.

This sword was probably sold by Schuyler, Hartley & Graham of New York. The pattern is pictured in their 1864 catalogue in figures 13 and 16. Rather than have a standard blade, the lightly curved 32 inch blade has "B.K." (Battery K) on the left… (870-447). Learn More »
