Image shows a section of the famous Gettysburg Cyclorama. The section in the view depicts General Meade’s headquarters and the makeshift hospitals around it.

Paper image and mount are mostly clean. Rose colored mount has the “UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD” name on one edge and “J. F. JARVIS, PUBLISHERS” on the other. The bottom of the mount is marked “FIELD HOSPITAL AND GENERAL MEADE’S HEADQUARTERS, BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG.” Image contrast is light. Card is creased down the middle but this is almost imperceptible on the front.

Reverse has a black printed mark that reads in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch and Russian.
