Third page contains dispatches and much news concerning Lee’s approach to Gettysburg: “THE INVASION” “The Army of the Potomac”, “Visit Inside Rebel Lines”, “York , PA., Occupied by General Meade’s Forces”, “Heavy Firing in the Neighborhood of Gettysburg”, “Fight Between Gregg’s Forces and Stuart’s Rebels”, “Generals Kilpatrick and Custer Drive Stuart Out of Hanover”. Exhibits light soiling and chipping along the left margins, with front page nearly detached, but not quite. Remainder of the paper is in near pristine and entirely legible. Fine Gettysburg Campaign newspaper collectible.
