This is a complete Confederate brass fuse plug in good condition. It has discolored some from age but all the threads are present as are the two wrench holes at top. Also visible in the fuse hole is the paper body from the original time fuse. All powder is gone.
This item was recovered by the late Gettysburg resident John Cullison in the “Valley of Death” and passed by him to the Rosensteel family collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
