This relic was recovered by a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) on their farm along the Taneytown Road after the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is a Lambert pattern tourniquet buckle that is complete with all three pieces and good relic condition. There is a small hole in the face plate and the arms are frozen underneath. There is light to moderate surface rust throughout.
