This item belonged to a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) who owned a farm along the Taneytown Road during the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is an iron pair of brazing tongs. The item meas. approx. 9.00 inches long and still operate properly. The iron surfaces have a nice dark patina and light pitting.
