This relic was recovered by a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) on their farm along the Taneytown Road after the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is an iron case-shot ball that meas. approx. 0.75 of an inch across. It has a light coat of surface rust throughout. Item is complete and solid.
