MODEL 1841 MISSISSIPPI GUN TOOL RECOVERED BEHIND THE ROUND TOPS, GETTYSBURG

$97.50 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 43-817

This relic was recovered by a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) on their farm along the Taneytown Road after the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is a scarce Model 1841 Mississippi gun tool that is complete and in very good relic condition. There is some light surface rust scattered throughout but not anything heavy. This is not something that was exposed to the elements for too long. Both blades are present but frozen. A little oil should free them up.
