CONFEDERATE IRON FINIAL RECOVERED BEHIND THE ROUND TOPS, GETTYSBURG

$22.50 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 43-833

This relic was recovered by a local Gettysburg family (Gilbert) on their farm along the Taneytown Road after the battle of Gettysburg.

The item is an iron finial from a cartridge box which was usually used by Confederates. The item does have a light coat of surface rust. This is not something that was exposed to the elements for too long as the rust would be heavier.
