Flat coin militia officer’s button with spread-winged eagle at center. No gilt remains on the face but the details of the eagle are visible.

The reverse has no shank and no readable maker’s mark.

Item was recovered at the site of a Colonial home on the East Cavalry Field at Gettysburg.
