This single cufflink looks to be made of brass that has tarnished with age. It is oval in shape and meas. approx. 0.75 of an inch long. Finely engraved on the face is “UNITED STATES” around the edge with a spread-winged eagle above a vertical anchor. There is no loop on the back.

This wonderful little cufflink was dug on the site of a Colonial home near the East Cavalry Battlefield at Gettysburg.
