These relics were recovered on Pickett’s Charge field by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959.

Cullison sold his collection to the famed Rosensteel family of Gettysburg, who held these relics in their private collection until released in 1996.

Two Hand-Forged Tent Spikes

Remnant of Cast Iron Frying Pan (measures 5 inches long)

Base to Spencer Cartridge

Fragment of CS Tine Canteen (measures 4 inches long)

Part of Enfield Trigger Guard

Three Buckles

Part of Gallagher Carbine Gun Tool

.56 Caliber Sharps Fired Bullet
