RARE GALLAGER CARBINE TOOL FROM GETTYSBURG

This iron tool is for the US Gallager carbine and consists of two blades held together by a central pin. One blade has a box-wrench end while the other has a slotted screwdriver. The other blade has an “O” ring.

The metal surfaces are dark with some light to moderate pitting and light surface rust. Blades are frozen in position.

This relic was recovered from East Cavalry Field at Gettysburg.
