The view was taken somewhere on Culp’s Hill. It shows trees damaged during the battle including one that was split in half.

The view is number 533 and is captioned “EFFECTS OF UNION SHOT AND SHELL-CULP’S HILL”

The contrast of the image is good and the mount is mostly clean with only light surface dirt from age and storage. There is an inked number “11” in the lower right corner.

Reverse is blank.
