Image shows a group of 11 people posing by the statue of General Warren on the summit of Little Round Top. The group consist of five women and six men. Four of the men are wearing GAR membership badges or reunion pins on their coats.
The background view is limited due to the angle of the camera but some details are discernable.
The image is clear with good contrast. The lower left corner is marked “5468-ON LITTLE ROUND TOP.” in white, and “5468” at lower right, also in white. Photographer’s imprint on lower right corner of mount: “W.H. Tipton / 8 MAIN STREET / GETTYSBURG, PA”. Image meas. approx. 9.00 x 7.25 inches with the mount meas. 12.00 x 10.00 inches. There is some wear around the mount edges.
Reverse is blank.
