Relics recovered on Pickett’s Charge field by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, whole held these relics in their private collection until released in 1996.

Relic box includes:

  • intact .52 caliber Spencer cartridge for rifle or carbine
  • intact Williams Cleaner bullet
  • fired .69 caliber musket ball
  • three fired and mushroomed Minie Balls
  • fired Sharps .52 caliber bullet
  • hand-made .44 caliber pistol ball for Colt Army Revolver
  • two Enfield .577 caliber bullets
  • two fired C.S. Gardner .58 caliber Minie Balls
  • three U.S .58 caliber Minie Balls.
