US PATTERN 1839 WAIST BELT PLATE FROM ROSENSTEEL GETTYSBURG COLLECTION

$245.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: R21305

Plate shows damage but is complete except for tongue on back. The face has a nice, medium patina while the back has 100% lead fill, both arrow hooks and museum number. The damage is at the end of the plate which has the letter "S"; appears to somehow have been smashed down. The arrow hooks are also pushed down. The whole plate has been coated with a preservative that gives it a pleasing appearance.
