Coat sized brass button separated into its three component parts back and shank, rim, face. Face is discolored but all details are clear.

This item was recovered by noted local relic hunter John Cullison, who excavated relics on the battlefield from 1935-1959; Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, who held the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
