Brass C.S. fuse adapter with remains of the paper time fuse. Relic has not been cleaned and shows light surface oxidation.
This item was recovered in the Culp’s Hill area by noted local relic hunter John Cullison, who excavated relics on the battlefield from 1935-1959; Cullison sold his collection to the famed Gettysburg Rosensteel family, who held the primary collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
