This red transferware plate features an image of Jennie Wade and the house in Gettysburg where she was shot. The reverse is stamped with, “OLD ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE WARE, MADE IN STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND BY THE ADAMS POTTERIES. ESTABLISHED IN 1657. IMPORTED FOR THE JENNIE WADE MUSEUM, GETTUSBURG, PA.”.
Plate measures 7” across. Very good condition with no cracks, but a very small chip at the top right.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible.
