Gold-toned jewelry box with hinged lid, has an engraved image of General Lee’s Headquarters and General Meade’s Headquarters on the top. Three sides of the box feature a different Gettysburg scene, which are- the Jennie Wade House, the High Water Mark, and the Pennsylvania State Monument. The back has engraved wording, “SOUVENIR OF GETTYSBURG”.
Item is in overall very good condition. Box has a semi-bright patina. Measures approx. 3”long x 2” wide x 1 ¼” high. Bottom of box is marked, “MADE IN JAPAN. A.C. BOSSELMAN & CO. NEW YORK.”.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sh]
