Uncleaned US Schenkl shell in dug condition. Remains of a zinc Schenkl combination fuse plug in fuse channel. Surface shows heavy rust and pitting. Recovered from the Gettysburg battlefield, on the Daniel Lady farm about 600 yards East of the barn, near Route 116 East. [JT]
