Shell is complete except for the fuse and the sabot. Surface has been cleaned to remove all dirt and active rust leaving behind a stippled surface.

The base cup has three flame grooves as does the nose section.

Shell was recovered on the north side of Benner’s Hill near the Hanover Road.
