Excavated iron P-1853 Enfield musket hammer. The iron is heavily rusted and needs to be coated.

This piece was recovered in the 1960s from the area East of Herr Ridge.

This relic was once part of the Iva Rosensteel collection. Mrs. Rosensteel is the sister of George Rosensteel, who started the Electric Map museum in Gettysburg. Eventually, it became a part of the Rider collection in Gettysburg, which remained in the family until The Horse Soldier purchased the collection in June 2016.   [jet]
