This relic is six brass Burnside cartridge casings stacked one inside the other. They are in overall good condition for dug casings but they do have a heavy green patina. Two of the casings have flattened edges and there is some minor chipping.

This relic was dug in the Cashtown, Pennsylvania area just west of Gettysburg.  [ad]
