This booklet was written by Edward Jerome Vogeler and has a copyright date of 1932. The preface states, “In the conviction that chauvinism is not American, that disillusionment sprouts from a bed of ignorance and fosters discontent, that understanding is our most substantial fortifications against forces which sporadically strive to disrupt out established form of government- this Book of Presidents is dedicated to the enlightened Youth of America. Our Nation’s History is proud in the possession of many great leaders. It were folly to assume they were of equal greatness and futile to attempt to gloss over the shortcomings of some.”

Following this are images and short biographies of the first thirty-one presidents of the United States, George Washington to Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Text contains 67 pages. Booklet measures 6 ¼” x 9 ¼”. Good condition. Edges have some light chipping. Some yellowing has occurred with age.  [ld]
