Bullet embedded in a large piece of wood. The wood measures approximately 8 inches at its longest point by about 4 inches wide. Bullet is clearly visible. Recovered from an unknown location on the Gettysburg battlefield. Attached to the wood is a tag that reads “From the Collection of James Brady. Bullet shot into wood, found on Gettysburg Battlefield. Purchased from George Lower of Gettysburg in the early 1970’s.” [JET]
