Minie ball embedded in a piece of wood. The wood measures approximately 4” x 3”. Minie ball is clearly visible. Recovered from an unknown location on the Gettysburg battlefield. Accompanied by a brief typed note from the previous owners of the item indicating they purchased it originally from the area and who had family living here at the time of the battle.  [jet]
