Confederate 12 pounder spherical case shot complete with a lead side loader plug and a brass fuse adapter that would have taken a paper time fuse. Ball shows practically no surface rust and was probably an early battlefield pick up. Mould seam is clearly visible. Fuse still unscrews. Loose case shot balls inside. Recovered from the Gettysburg battlefield and acquired from G.A.R. Post #9 in Gettysburg. [jet]
