Suspended from this is a red, white and blue grosgrain ribbon and medal with an image of the New York state seal. Surrounding the seal is the wording, “NEW YORK DAY, DEDICATION OF STATE MONUMENTS AT GETTYSBURG JULY 1.2.3. 1893”. Reverse of medal features the New York state monument and the years, “1863 1893”. Entire length measures 3”. Ribbon is soiled and split in three places. [SM]
