This display box contains relics found by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison on June 2, 1959 on the grounds of Pickett’s charge and then sold to the Rosensteel family for their museum which eventually became the National Park Visitors Center. The relics were released for sale in 1996.

Box contains the following relics:

7.50 inch section of sword blade, rusted

3 fired .58 minie balls

Iron artillery or horse harness hook

½ of a CS tin drum canteen

2 Fired .69 musket ball

Lead ring made of an artillery sabot section

Matching knife, fork and spoon

.69 musket ball with sprue

Dropped Williams Cleaner Type 2 bullet

.44 pistol ball

3 CS Gardner bullets, 2 fired, 1 dropped

Display comes with a color copy of the original label with Mr. Cullison’s name and date the relics were purchased from him.  [ad]
