Matchbox features an engraved image of both General Lee’s Headquarters and General Meade’s Headquarters on the top of the lid. Sides of box are engraved with images of the Jennie Wade House, Pennsylvania State Monument, and the High Water Mark Monument. Lid lifts off as a separate piece. Underside of matchbox has maker’s mark that reads, “MADE IN JAPAN, A.C. BOSSELMAN & CO. NEW YORK”. Measures approx. 3” x 2” x 1”.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sm]
