Stereo is on a yellow mount with “ARTISTIC STEREO GEMS OF GETTYSBURG SCENERY” on one edge and “PHOTOGRAPHED BY W. H. TIPTON GETTYSBURG, PA.” on the other.

The image shows the Vermont section of the Soldier’s National Cemetery. The modern paved road is just a dirt path and the stones are raised a good bit compared to how they are today. The view takes in a good bit of the cemetery grounds.

Image number is 615 or 515. The caption reads “VERMONT SECTION OF GRAVES.” The image is clear and clean and the contrast is good. Reverse has Tipton’s logo and an advertisement of his work.
