Recovered by local Gettysburg resident John Cullison, who excavated relics on the field from 1935-1959. Plate has a wonderful olive patina, with both iron hooks intact. Choice face with a perfect lead back.
This plate was later purchased by the Rosensteel family of Gettysburg and was part of their personal collection until it was sold to The Horse Soldier in 1991/1992.
