Plate features an image of the High Water Mark Monument on the Gettysburg battlefield. Edge of plate is cobalt blue with gold gilt fleur de lis decoration and band. Lettering reads, “THE THIRD DAY’S BATTLE, GETTYSBURG, PA”. Measures approximately 8 ¼” in circumference. Plate is free of chips or cracks. Underside of plate is maker marked, “WHEELOCK / MADE IN GERMANY FOR GEO. W. CHRITZMAN, GETTYSBURG, PA/ WEIMAR”.

This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible.      [sm]
