This booklet was created by John M. Butler and printed by E.K. Meyers in Harrisburg. It features a colorful image of a Union soldier on horseback, holding a U.S. flag. Booklet gives a nice overview of the battle, telling what happened each of the three days and the order of battle. It also contains information on the areas surrounding Gettysburg, such as the Carlisle Indian School and the Gettysburg & Harrisburg Railroad.
Booklet measures 4 7/8” x 6 5/8”. Text contains 44 pages. Pages have yellowed with age. Binding is tight. Tiny chips are present and right corners are bent.
This is a nice, early Gettysburg souvenir. [sm]
