Two piece bronze pin clasp medallion. Upper Greek cross piece is attached by a single  chain link to lower  Rhode Island “Anchor” shield. Upper inscription: “50th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg/1863-1913; lower inscription: “Hope”/ Anchor/ “Rhode Island.” Reverse maker mark: “Whitehead & Hoag & Co./ Newark NJ.”  Exhibits medium to dark patina, else VG and attractive. Solid 1913 Gettysburg collectible.    [jp]
