This ceremony was organized by The Longstreet Memorial Association. Inside is the schedule and information of the various events the Association has planned, such as a reception at the Gettysburg Hotel, a parade, and the unveiling of the proposed equestrian monument of the General by Mrs. Longstreet. The plan for this original monument at Gettysburg would never come to fruition, and a different monument to Longstreet was erected in 1998 at Pitzer’s Woods on West Confederate Avenue.

Program measures 5 ½” x 8 ½”. Has a horizontal crease across the center, no tears or chips.    [sm]
