Red, white and blue striped silk ribbon features a celluloid button at the top with image of a Union and Confederate soldier shaking hands below crossed flags. Wording reads, “50TH ANNIVERSARY 1863-1913 / BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG”. Original pin is present on reverse. Ribbon has gold lettering that reads, “1863 / 50TH / 1913 / ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG / JULY 1-4TH 1913”. Suspended from bottom of the ribbon is a gold framed celluloid button with an image of Abraham Lincoln.

Reverse of buttons is labeled, “J.H. SHAW 1326 ARCH ST. PHILADELPHIA, PA”. Buttons are firmly attached to ribbon. Light surface dirt is present on ribbon. No tears or fraying. Measures 5” long.
