Plate features an image of the High Water Mark Monument on the Gettysburg battlefield. Edge of plate has gold gilt band. Lettering reads, “HIGH WATER MARK OF THE REBELLION, GETTYSBURG, PA”. Measures approximately 6 ¼” in circumference. Plate is free of chips or cracks. Underside of plate is maker marked, “HAND PAINTED GERMANY, THE JONROTH STUDIOS / PAINTED AND IMPORTED FOR BLOCHER’S, GETTYSBURG, PA / ”.
This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible. [sm]
