Newspaper dated June 28 features eight additional sections commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Front page article, “CONFEDERATES STORM THE TOWN” shows a photo of the reenactors.
Newspapers dated July 1, 2, 3, & 5 feature articles and photos of the events related to the anniversary, including a concert that former President Eisenhower attended, a parade, commemorative stamp and reenactment of Pickett’s Charge.
Papers are all in very good condition with some yellowing and small chips on edges. [sl]
