Hand-held fan constructed of card stock fan paddle fitted to a thing wood handle. Measures 13 ½” from top of fan to bottom tip of handle, 8 ¾” across. Fan is stapled to handle. Back of fan reads, “SOUVENIR OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG”. Followed by many lines of advertising from the Atlantic Refining Company, listing many of the oil, grease, and wax products. The front of the fan presents a W.H. Tipton photo of the large Pennsylvania Memorial. There is one minor crease at the top, left edge and scattered soiling and mold spotting over all, but this necessary item for the hot summer months in Gettysburg is still solid and in good condition.
