Vintage wooden cigar box has, “GETTYSBURG HAND MADE” stamped on the lid and sides. Stamped on the front is, “INVINCIBLE”.  Underside of box is marked, “FACTORY NO. 665, 1^ST DISTRICT, STATE OF PA.”. Inside of box is lined with paper that is labeled, “GETTYSBURG HAND MADE 5c”.

Box shows some flaking and distressing, but is solid.

By the turn of the 20^th century, south central Pennsylvania was one of the largest manufacturing locations of cigars. This is a nice, vintage Gettysburg collectible.  [sl]
